This project for @Urbanite Construction in Fulham, SW6 – totalling 140m2 of microcement flooring. Spread over two floors including the open plan kitchen/ dining area, entrance hallway & cloakroom on the first floor, leading onto the basement hallway, utility room, cloakroom, spacious living area and a further reception room.

The client’s objective was to achieve a seamless flooring solution, with the visual aesthetic of something similar to polished concrete with a matt finish, whilst also offering minimal thickness over the substrate that will be long-lasting and easy to maintain.

We achieved this variation within the aesthetic movement of the microcement using specific tools & trowelling techniques during the application process, creating an authentic and slightly distressed look, similar to polished concrete whilst maintaining its own unique elegance. The pigments used within the mixing of the material(s) allowed us to achieve a colour that offered a natural concrete effect, that comprises a luxurious and robust finish, completed using a semi-matt sealant.
